Η Chrysler ανακοίνωσε την ανάκληση για την αμερικάνικη αγορά 51.477 οχημάτων, που περιλαμβάνουν φορτηγάκια της Ram και μερικά Jeep Grand Cherokee. Σύμφωνα με τον Εθνικό Οργανισμό Ασφάλειας (NHTSA), δεν έχουν αναφερθεί κάποιο ατύχημα, τραυματισμός ή θάνατος από τα συγκεκριμένα οχήματα.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα η ανάκληση περιλαμβάνει 45.961 φορτηγάκια Ram 1500, κατασκευής μεταξύ 26 Ιουνίου 2012 και 5 Φεβρουαρίου 2013, με το πρόβλημα να εντοπίζεται στο λογισμικό του ESP που μπορεί να απενεργοποιήσει τυχαία το σύστημα κατά την εκκίνηση του οχήματος.
Τα υπόλοιπα 4.458 οχήματα, αφορά το Jeep Grand Cherokee, εκτός της SRT, που κατασκευάστηκαν μεταξύ 14 Ιανουαρίου και 20 Μαρτίου του 2013. Η ανάκληση αφορά τα οχήματα που εξοπλίζονται με LED κύρια φωτιστικά σώματα, τα οποία κατά τη μετάβαση από την φωτεινή ρύθμιση ημέρας στη ρύθμιση στάθμευσης χαμηλής έντασης, υπάρχει το ενδεχόμενο να μπει σε ασφαλή λειτουργία η κεντρική μονάδα ελέγχουν και να απενεργοποιήσει τα LED.
Τέλος, η ανάκληση ολοκληρώνεται με 1.058 Ram 4500 και 5500 heavy-duty φορτηγά κατασκευής από 22 Ιανουαρίου μέχρι 8 Μαρτίου 2013 εξαιτίας ενός ελαττωμένου μπουλονιού τοποθετημένο σε μια μπάρα στο πλαίσιο των οχημάτων.

Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2013 RAM 1500 4×4 trucks manufactured June 26, 2012, through February 5, 2013. Due to a software issue with the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) module, the ESC system may be disabled when the vehicle is started.
CONSEQUENCE:
A disabled ESC system may result in loss of directional control, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:

SUMMARY:
Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2014, non-SRT trimmed, Grand Cherokee vehicles manufactured January 14, 2013, through March 20, 2013 equipped with premium headlamps. In the affected vehicles, when switching between daytime running lights and parking lights, electrical spikes may cause the parking lamps to turn off. Without properly functioning parking lamps these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108, “Lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment.”
CONSEQUENCE:
Without parking lamps, the vehicle may not be as visible to other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:

Chrysler is recalling certain model year 2013 RAM 4500 and 5500 trucks manufactured January 22, 2013, through March 8, 2013. An incorrect bolt may have been used to attach the track bar to the frame.
CONSEQUENCE:
The incorrect attaching bolt may break or fall out, resulting in the vehicle suddenly pulling to one side, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
