Ο Lewis Hamilton θα κάνει μια ειδική εμφάνιση στον τελευταίο αγώνα της σεζόν του DTM στο Hockenheim.
Ο πιλότος της Mercedes θα παραβρεθεί στον αγώνα που είναι προγραμματισμένος να γίνει στις 20 Οκτωβρίου, μεταξύ δηλαδή των αγώνων της Ιαπωνίας και της Ινδίας. O Βρετανός θα αναλάβει τα καθήκοντα ”σοφέρ” αφού θα οδηγήσει ένα αγωνιστικό αυτοκίνητο DTM της Mercedes με συνοδηγούς άτομα τα οποία θα βρίσκονται στην πίστα προσφέροντάς τους τη δυνατότητα να βρεθούν μέσα σε ένα αγωνιστικό αυτοκίνητο, δίπλα σε έναν παγκόσμιο πρωταθλητή της F1.
Πατώντας εδώ, από την Δευτέρα 14 Οκτωβρίου, μπορείς και εσύ να πάρεις μέρος στο διαγωνισμό για μια διαδρομή με DTM ως συνοδηγός του Lewis Hamilton.
Ο Hamilton είναι γνώριμος με τα paddock του DTM, αφού έχει αγωνιστεί στο πρωτάθλημα της F3 Euroseries πριν βρεθεί στον μαγικό κόσμο της F1.

Πραγματικά ανυπομονώ να παρευρεθώ στο φινάλε του DTM στο Hockenheim και να ξαναδώ τα paddock του DTM. Ήμουν πάντα μέλος της οικογένειας της Mercedes-Benz από την αρχή της καριέρας μου στο μηχανοκίνητο αθλητισμό. Κατά τη διάρκεια των δύο χρόνων μου στη Formula 3 Euro Series, ήμουν πραγματικά στο στοιχείο μου σε αυτά τα Σαββατοκύριακα του DTM.
Το DTM είναι μια άκρως επαγγελματική σειρά αγώνων που έχει απίστευτα ενθουσιώδη κόσμο, το οποίο το καθιστά το ιδανικό περιβάλλον για τους νέους οδηγούς που κάνουν τα πρώτα βήματα στην καριέρα τους. Έχω πολύ καλές αναμνήσεις από το περιβάλλον του DTM και είμαι περίεργος να δω πόσα πρόσωπα θα αναγνωρίσω στα paddock του Hockenheim.

Lewis Hamilton to attend closing race of the DTM season at Hockenheim

Stuttgart – VIP visitor to final race of the DTM season at Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg: MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS driver Lewis Hamilton will be a special guest of Mercedes-Benz on 20th October. The Formula 1 driver will not only be fitting in a visit to the world’s most popular touring car series between F1 Grand Prix races in Japan and India but will also be performing chauffeuring duties. Hamilton will be driving passengers around the track in a Mercedes-Benz DTM ‘race taxi’, providing them with a unique experience of lapping the Hockenheimring in a DTM racing car.

Hamilton is already familiar with the DTM paddock from the time before he made the step up to Formula 1. In the 2004 and 2005 seasons, the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS driver competed in the Formula 3 Euro Series which takes place as part of the DTM weekend. He won the 2005 title driving a Dallara Mercedes for the ASM team. In the 20 races that year, Hamilton had 17 podium finishes and 15 wins, all powered by a Mercedes-Benz Formula 3 engine.
