O γερμανικός βελτιωτικός οίκος JE Design μας παρουσιάζει το νέο του πρόγραμμα αναβάθμισης για το Seat Leon FR.
Στιλιστικά του τοποθετεί μέρη, όπως εμπρός σπόιλερ, πλαϊνές ποδιές και στοιχεία του πίσω προφυλακτήρα με “carbon look”, ενώ βάζει μια αεροτομή και εξάτμιση. Από θέμα ανάρτησης πλέον φοράει coilover αμορτισέρ της KW και ελατήρια χαμηλώματος κάνοντας το αυτοκίνητο να πλησιάσει το έδαφος κατά 30 χλστ, ενώ υπάρχει ποικιλία σχεδίων για τις αλουμινένιες ζάντες διαμέτρου 18 και 19 ιντσών.
Μηχανικά, τώρα, ο 1.8-λίτρων TSI κινητήρας αποδίδει πλέον 215 άλογα και 300 Nm ροπής, μια αύξηση της τάξης των 35 ίππων και 50 Nm αντίστοιχα. Οι επιδόσεις του πλέον είναι καλύτερες και κάνει τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα σε 6,9 δευτ. με την τελική ταχύτητα να φτάνει τα 235 χλμ/ώρα, γεγονός που είναι κατά 0,6 δευτ και 9 χλμ/ώρα αντίστοιχα καλύτερα από το εργοστασιακό. JE DESIGN increases the performance to 215 hp

Auto Emoción reinterpreted: JE DESIGN gives the most powerful Seat Leon with a gasoline engine, the FR 1.8 TSI, even more power. With increased performance, a sporty aerodynamic kit and sporting accents, the refined Spaniard breaks away from the rest of the series. An improved suspension and light alloy wheels demonstrate the sharper approach by JE DESIGN.
After the engineers from Leingarten in Baden-Wuerttemberg have finished their work, the 1.8 TSI engine produces more power. Instead of 180 hp (132 kW), the engine puts out 215 hp (158 kW). In addition, the refiner has boosted the maximum torque from 250 to 300 Newton meters. Thus, the Seat reaches a speed of 100 after just 6.9 seconds (series: 7.5 seconds). The acceleration tops out at 235 km/h. The production model has a maximum speed of 226 km/h.
The 1.8 TSI in the FR owes its newly-won power to an optimized control unit. JE DESIGN offers the entire performance boost for 1,990 Euro including VAT and twelve month warranty.
The mighty Leon shows the enormous increase in performance with a new aerodynamic package in carbon look (complete for 1,369 Euro). The front spoiler (417 Euro) hugs the street. Side skirts (357 Euro) calm down the air flow and pass it on to the rear skirt insert (298 Euro). In the five-door hatchback, a roof spoiler (357 Euro) also ensures the necessary downforce on the rear axle.
Optional (not shown), there are also two stainless steel tailpipes on both sides, each with a diameter of 80 millimeters. The complete stainless steel muffler (899 Euro) has an EC approval. JE DESIGN offers all aerodynamics components (except the roof spoiler) exclusively in carbon look. This eliminates time-consuming painting, and the parts can be assembled on the vehicle immediately. Of course, these have a TÜV certificate.
Lowering springs (237 Euro) improve the road adhesion of the FR and bring the car 30 millimeters closer to the tarmac. Whoever would like to reduce the distance to the road individually can pick up the KW coilover suspension made of stainless steel (1,049 Euro). With it, 35 to 65 mm are possible.
For the highest standards, JE DESIGN also offers the adjustable rebound and compression-damping KW coilover suspension Variant 3 (1,749 Euro).
“Scorpio” type light alloy wheels, specially developed for the fiery Spaniard, now fill the wheel arches. They are available in the dimension 7.5×18 inches and matt black finish with matt silver front. Especially for the top model of the current FR-series, JE DESIGN has wrapped the wheels with high-performance tires in size 225/40. The complete wheel set is available at a price starting from 839 Euro.
Alternatively, the proven MULTISPOKE rims can be mounted in shadow silver in 7.5×18 (complete wheel set from 839 Euro), or if desired in 8×19 with 225/35 R 19 tires (complete wheel set from 999 Euro).
Sporty and elegant: JE DESIGN presents the most agile Seat Leon FR with a TSI engine. All parts (except for the roof spoiler) are, of course, also available for the Leon FR in the three-door version.
