Η NHTSA ανακοίνωσε πως η Land Rover θα ανακαλέσει κοντά στις 4.000 νέα Range Rover και Range Rover Sport MY2013-MY2014, που έχουν πουληθεί στις Η.Π.Α, στα οποία ενδεχομένως το βύσμα από τον πλαϊνό αερόσακο των καθισμάτων, μπορεί να ξεκουμπώσει με αποτέλεσμα σε περίπτωση σύγκρουσης ο αερόσακος να μην ενεργοποιηθεί.
Η ανάκληση αφορά συνολικά 3.912 αυτοκίνητα, με το πρόγραμμα να ξεκινά στις 17 του Γενάρη. Οι ιδιοκτήτες των προς ανάκληση οχημάτων θα ειδοποιηθούν ώστε να μεταβούν στις κατά τόπους αντιπροσωπείες ώστε να διορθωθεί το πρόβλημα εντελώς δωρεάν.

SUMMARY:
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Range Rover vehicles. In the affected vehicles, due to insufficient clearance, the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) connector located in the driver and front passenger side seat of the vehicle may become disconnected.
CONSEQUENCE:
If the connector becomes disconnected, the driver and/or passenger seat side air bag may not function. In the event of a crash necessitating side air bag deployment, the seat occupant is at an increased risk of injury.
REMEDY:
Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will modify the area around the connector to prevent it from becoming disconnected, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on January 17, 2014.
