LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI.PK), will come to the rescue of muscle car enthusiasts whose order for a Chrysler / Dodge Hellcat was cancelled, with a special incentive for a 2015-16 Shelby Super Snake. Anyone with proof of a Chrysler cancelled Hellcat order is eligible to receive a free upgrade on their Katzkin interior when they purchase the more powerful 850+hp Shelby Super Snake.

On July 27, Chrysler / Dodge announced that the remaining 900 open Hellcat orders for 2015 would be cancelled. Those buyers instead would receive a voucher for the purchase of a 2016 model and forced to wait.
“You can’t park a voucher in your garage, so the 850+ horsepower Shelby Super Snake is the perfect solution for power-hungry-Hellcat fans,” said Keith Belair, Shelby American Chief Operating Officer. “We can give them the high performance car they want without the frustration of getting back in line.”
The opportunity for the Hellcat buyers is simple. They need only purchase a MY 2015-16 Shelby Super Snake with the 850+hp performance upgrade and Shelby American will include the upgraded Katzkin interior, which is a $2,995 value. To qualify, the Hellcat buyers must provide proof of their cancelation or a copy of their dealer voucher.
