Η Chevrolet ανακοίνωσε πως η ανανεωμένη Camaro έφτασε στην Ευρώπη και θα ξεκινά από τις 39.900 ευρώ. Η νέα Camaro θα ξεκινήσει τις παραδώσεις της στα τέλη του 2013 και θα είναι διαθέσιμη τόσο σε coupe όσο και σε cabrio έκδοση, με την τελευταία να ξεκινά από τις €44.990.
Στιλιστικά διαθέτει πιο λεπτή γρίλια, νέους προφυλακτήρες με μεγαλύτερες εισαγωγές αέρα, αεριζόμενο καπό, νέα φωτιστικά σώματα καθώς και αναβαθμισμένο εσωτερικό, προερχόμενα τα περισσότερα από την ZL1.
Μηχανικά φορά τον V8 6,2-λίτρων LS7 κινητήρα ο οποίος αποδίδει 432 άλογα όταν συνδυάζεται με το 6-τάχυτο μηχανικό κιβώτιο και 405 άλογα όταν συνδυάζεται με το 6-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο.
Τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα τα κάνει σε 5,2 δευτερόλεπτα με το μηχανικό κιβώτιο και τα 5,4 δευτερόλεπτα με το αυτόματο. Οι αντίστοιχες cabrio εκδόσεις τα κάνουν σε 5,4 και 5,6 δευτερόλεπτα αντιστοίχως.
Η Chevrolet προσφέρει 3 χρόνια εγγύησης στη Camaro. Στην Ελλάδα θα είναι διαθέσιμη προς παραγγελία από τον Σεπτέμβριο, χωρίς ακόμη να έχουν γίνει γνωστές οι τιμές της.

ZURICH – The redesigned Chevrolet Camaro performance car will go on sale across Europe toward the end of this year, with prices in Germany starting from €39,990 for the coupe with manual transmission.
Prices for the convertible with manual transmission in Germany start from €44,990. German customers can look forward to taking delivery of their new Camaro as of September 2013.
The new Camaro represents the most significant redesign since the introduction of the fifth-generation Camaro as a concept car in 2006. It features a revised exterior appearance that integrates high-performance aerodynamics, allowing for more efficient cooling and stability at high speeds.
The design changes give the Camaro a more contemporary look. The front fascia has a wider lower grille and a narrower upper grille, while the functional hood vent helps reduce heat and aerodynamic lift. At the rear, a sculptural deck lid, horizontal lamps and diffuser complete the facelift.
The Camaro’s 6.2L engine produces 432 hp (318 kW) when coupled with a six-speed short-throw manual transmission, and 405 hp (298 kW) in combination with the automatic transmission, which has TAP shift functionality.
Remote keyless entry is standard, and customers can opt for a remote engine start functionality on the automatic variant.
Chevrolet MyLink technology comes as standard, with a seven-inch touch-screen, rear-view camera and a voice recognition system that, together with the new color heads-up display, helps drivers keep their eyes on the road and hands on the steering wheel. An optional navigation systems, with coverage of all Europe, is available.
The new Camaro also features optional leather-appointed power adjustable Recaro sport bucket seats in the front for the coupe variant.
