H Abarth έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα νέες λεπτομέρειες για το Punto SuperSport που παρουσίασε στην έκθεση της Φρανκφούρτης τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2011. Κάτω από το καπό του βρίσκεται ο 1.4000αρης Turbo T-Jet απόδοσης 180 ίππων με 270 Nm ροπής. Συνδυάζεται με ένα 6-τάχυτο μηχανικό κιβώτιο με τα τα 0-100 χλμ/ώρα να τα κάνει σε 7.5 δευτ. με την τελική του ταχύτητα να αγγίζει τα 216 χλμ/ώρα. Έχει μέση κατανάλωση 6.1 λίτρα/100 χλμ και 142 γρ/χλμ εκπομπές CO2.
Διαθέτει νέο bodykit (πολλά μέρη του είναι από το kit Esseesse Abarth Koni) και φορά μεγάλο κιτ φρένων της Brembo με τετραπίστονες δαγκάνες και διάτρητα δισκόφρενα. Η ανάρτηση του είναι της Koni πλήρως ρυθμιζόμενη.
Εξωτερικά είναι βαμμένο σε γκρι και μαύρο ματ χρώμα. Πατά πάνω σε μαύρες ματ ζάντες 17″ με ελαστικά διαστάσεων 215/45, και στο εσωτερικό ξεχωρίζουν τα μαύρα δερμάτινα καθίσματα της Sabelt με κόκκινες και κίτρινες ραφές, τα μαύρα γυαλιστερά διακοσμητικά, το δερμάτινο τιμόνι με διπλές κόκκινες και κίτρινες ραφές και με τα ανοξείδωτο πετάλς με το λογότυπο της Abarth.
Η παραγωγή του θα περιοριστεί σε 199 μονάδες και στην Ιταλία ξεκινά από τις 21.900 ευρώ.
