H Porsche παρουσίασε μια ειδική έκδοση της Boxster S που θα βγει σε περιορισμένη 7 κομματιών για την αγορά της Ολλανδίας.
Την ονομάζει Red 7 και θα είναι βαμμένη στο κόκκινο “Guards Red” χρώμα με ματ λεπτομέρειες και ζάντες 20 ιντσών. Ακόμα θα έχει χαμηλωμένη σπορ ανάρτηση και νέο σύστημα εξάτμισης
Η εξωτερική διχρωμία του εξωτερικού, συνεχίζεται και στη καμπίνα, με τα μαύρα δερμάτινα καθίσματα και έρχονται σε αντίθεση με τις κόκκινες λεπτομέρειες στο ταμπλό, στο τιμόνι και στη κεντρική κονσόλα. Άλλες αισθητικές λεπτομέρειες του εσωτερικού είναι τα φωτιζόμενα μαρσπιέ, το ηχοσύστημα της Bose, το σύστημα Porsche Communication Management και το πακέτο Sport Chrono.
Μηχανικά δεν έχει αλλάξει κάτι και φοράει τον εξακύλινδρο boxer 3.4-λίτρων απόδοσης 315 ίππων και 360 Nm ροπής που συνδυάζεται με το 7-τάχυτο PDK αυτόματο κιβώτιο, με το σύνολο να χρειάζεται για τα 0-100 5 δευτ.
