Η Fiat ανακοίνωσε πως τα 500L, 500L Trekking και 500L Living θα είναι πλέον διαθέσιμα και με τον 1400άρη T-Jet κινητήρα.
Τα μοντέλα είναι μεγαλύτερα και βαρύτερα από το standard 500ράκι οπότε η προσθήκη του ισχυρότερου κινητήρα είναι κάτι παραπάνω από καλοδεχούμενη. Ο T-Jet αποδίδει 120 άλογα και 215Nm ροπής γεγονός που επιτρέπει στο 500L και τις εκδόσεις του να επιταχύνει έως τα 100km/h από στάση σε 10.2 δευτερόλεπτα και να επιτυγχάνει τελική της τάξης των 189km/h. Δεν βάζει φωτιά στον δρόμο αλλά δεν είναι αυτός ο σκοπός του άλλωστε.
Τα μοντέλα με τον T-Jet είναι διαθέσιμα αυτή τη στιγμή για παραγγελία στην Ιταλία οπότε λογικά, δεν θα αργήσουν να περάσουν τα σύνορα και για την χώρα μας. Οι τιμές στην Ιταλία ξεκινούν από τα 20.920€ για το 500L, 21.626€ για το 500L Trekking ενώ το 500L Living ξεκινάει από τις 20.063€.
