Η Fiat, μέσω της παραπάνω teaser φωτογραφίας, ανακοίνωσε ότι ετοιμάζει μια ακόμα ειδική έκδοση για το 500, που αναμένεται να παρουσιαστεί στις 4 Ιουλίου.
Αυτή ονομάζεται 500 Riva, και έχει εξελιχθεί από κοινού με την κατασκευάστρια εταιρία πολυτελών yacht, Riva. Έχει μοναδικά χαρακτηριστικά για να ξεχωρίζει από τα κανονικά μοντέλα και αποτίει φόρο τιμής στο αυθεντικό 500, το οποίο παρουσιάστηκε το 1957.
Η ειδική έκδοση είναι βαμμένη σε ένα μοναδικό μπλε χρώμα, πανομοιότυπο με εκείνο του ταχύπλοου Aquariva Super, το οποίο με τη σειρά του, αντικατοπτρίζει το χρώμα του Aquarama που παρουσιάστηκε την ίδια περίοδο.
