Μηχανικά ο V8 4.7-λίτρων αποδίδει 590 άλογα με 472 Nm ροπής, σημαντική βελτίωση αφού το μοντέλο παραγωγής αποδίδει 150 άλογα και 82 Nm ροπής λιγότερα.
Στιλιστικά φορά ένα carbon bodykit που αποτελείται από νέο μπροστά προφυλακτήρα, νέο καπό με εισαγωγές αέρα, πλαϊνά spoiler, αεροτομή και πίσω διαχύτη. Πατά πάνω σε ζάντες 20″ με ελαστικά διαστάσεων 255/30 μπροστά και 21″ πίσω με ελαστικά 305/20, ενώ χαμήλωσε και κατά 30 mm χάρη στα νέα ελατήρια.
Στο εσωτερικό ξεχωρίζουν οι δερμάτινες/Alcantara επενδύσεις, τα αλουμινένια πετάλς, τα carbon καθίσματα και το νέο εργονομικά σχεδιασμό sport τιμόνι.
OFFICIAL: German Luxury Tuner DMC shows it’s first Maserati Convertible
German tuner DMC has released a conversion for the Maserati GranTurismo, which includes an engine upgrade, suspension upgrades, new rims and several carbon fiber exterior parts for the Italian sports car. Now he showcases his first project based on the convertible model, and it looks sick!
On the front fascia, the newly designed front bumper gives the GT an all new presentation, thanks to a new spoiler lip that also serves an aerodynamic use to increase downforce on the front axle. Additional air inlets and outlets are added to the new light-construction bonnet. The wide body side skirts have zig-zag end-panels. The trunk spoiler at the back and a new rear diffuser complete the new look. All add-on parts are made from carbon fiber and are manufactured by DMC using autoclave prepreg vacuum processing.
The optical appearance also includes a sport suspension for the front and rear axles, which lowers the vehicle’s center of gravity by around 30 millimetres. Contact to the ground is maintained by 255/30 R 20 front tyres and 305/30 R 21 wheels at the back. DMC has recently started investing into forged rims and brings the concave design to the Maserati GranTurismo models. On request of the customer, these wheels are sprayed in the colour of the vehicle and decorated with black accents.
Under the hood, the 4.7 liter V8 is more potent thanks to a supercharger that is driven using a cogged-tooth belt. The Maserati is now able to produce an additional 150hp and 82Nm, which means a total of 590hp at 7,300rpm and 472Nm of torque at 5,400rpm.
In the interior DMC uses leather with a chequered stitch and plenty of Carbon Fiber. The aluminium pedals and new ergonomically designed sporty steering wheel are parts added to the setup.
