New international car brand, Qoros, opened its first purpose-built Shanghai dealership – Shanghai Guanshan Automobile Sales and Service Co., Ltd., – on 10 December. As the company’s first dealership in a first-tier city, the 4000 m2 site spearheads a new phase of growth for the brand’s developing dealer network.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Guo Qian, Qoros Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Lu Ya, Chairman of Daqian Investment Co., Ltd., Mr. Wu Renwei, General Manager of Shanghai Guanshan Automobile Sales & Service Co,. Ltd., and other distinguished guests and media from Shanghai. The event marked the official authorisation of the showroom’s Qoros dealer certification.

The first model available from the Shanghai Guanshan dealership is the Qoros 3 Sedan, Qoros’ first series production model. It was officially launched at the Guangzhou Auto Show, with competitive prices from RMB 119,900 to RMB 167,900. With high quality and a generous specification, the car offers unparalleled value and injects fresh vitality into a compact car segment. Throughout the show, Qoros not only caught the eyes of the public, but also received the glowing praise from the media. They bestowed several awards on the Qoros 3 Sedan, including “The most eagerly anticipated model of the year”, “Cutting-edge model of the year” and “The most highly recommended model of the year”.

Since it made its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show and Shanghai Auto Show in March and April 2013, the Qoros 3 Sedan has received widespread acclaim for its enduring elegance, refined driving experience, innovative infotainment system and European standards of quality. In recent media test drives, the Qoros 3 Sedan was praised for its engineering quality and performance. In September, it became the first car developed in China to be awarded five stars in Euro NCAP crash tests, and also earned the highest score so far in the organisation’s 2013 assessment programme.

Meanwhile, Qoros’ dealer network is developing steadily on schedule. At present, Qoros has signed up 120 dealers across China, with the first wave of dealers opening before the end of the year. Qoros plans to have a network of well over 100 dealerships open by the end of 2014.
