Η Lamborghini υπέγραψε συμφωνία συνεργασίας με το Τεχνολογικό Ινστιτούτο Μασαχουσέτης (MIT) με σκοπό την ανάπτυξη ενός έργου που θα σηματοδοτήσει το απώτερο μέλλον των supercars της εταιρείας στην τρίτη χιλιετία. Η συνεργασία αυτή προέκυψε στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος της Ιταλίας, κατά το οποίο οι φοιτητές και οι ερευνητές του MIT θα εργαστούν από κοινού με τους μηχανικούς της Lamborghini στον τομέα της έρευνας, εστιάζοντας στα νέα υλικά για το τομέα της αυτοκινητοβιομηχανίας και θα έχει σαν απώτερο στόχο την δημιουργία ενός αρκετά φιλόδοξου σχεδίου που θα αναπτύξει ένα supercar με χαμηλό βάρος και υψηλή ακαμψία που θα δημιουργήσει νέα δεδομένα στην κατηγορία.
Ο Stefano Dominecali, Stefano Domenicali, Πρόεδρος και Διευθύνων σύμβουλος της Lamborghini, δήλωσε υπερήφανος για αυτή την συνεργασία και συνέχισε λέγοντας πως θέλει το κοινό να θεωρεί την Lamborghini σαν την μάρκα που θέτει τις τάσεις στην κατηγορία των γρήγορων και των πολυτελών αυτοκίνητων. Από την πλευρά της, η Serenella Sferza, διευθύντρια του ιταλικού προγράμματος στο MIT, δήλωσε ότι δεν θα μπορούσαν να βρουν καλύτερο εταίρο από την Lamborghini και ανυπομονεί για τα κοινά project που θα αναπτύξουν.

LAUTOMOBILI LAMBORGHINI AND THE MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JOIN FORCES TO WRITE THE FUTURE OF SUPER SPORTS CARS
Sant’Agata Bolognese/Boston, 18 October 2016 – Automobili Lamborghini has signed an agreement with the MIT-Italy Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
The agreement marks the start of a collaboration between these two outstanding entities for the creation of a project that intends to write an important page in the future of super sports cars for the third millennium.
This strategic partnership will enable students and the teaching staff at MIT and Lamborghini engineers to compare notes and work together on mutually interesting, cutting-edge research projects, focusing primarily on new materials in the automotive field, with exchange, collaboration projects and workshops leading to joint research in the chosen fields.
The partnership represents a step into the future for the automotive industry, with the ultimate aim of paving the way for a very ambitious project, namely a super sports car ready for the challenges of the third millennium.
